Job summary

Hertz Rent-A-Car in Burlington, VT seeks a Mechanic B to join our maintenance team. You will perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and inspections to keep our fleet safe and reliable. Candidates should have at least 1 year of vehicle maintenance experience and must own tools and a valid driver’s license.

Wage is $24.50 per hour with a median monthly incentive of about $258, contingent on performance. High School diploma preferred; prior automotive repair experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At minimum one (1) year of vehicle maintenance experience.
• Must be able to perform vehicle repairs with oversight.

The Mechanic B is the second level within the Hertz Corporation for our maintenance team. In this role you will be performing preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and inspection.

Wage: $24.50/hr + median incentive is approximately 258/month, varies based on job performance

Educational Background:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Professional Experience:

• At minimum one (1) years of vehicle maintenance experience
• Preferred prior experience with automotive repair (personal or professional)

Knowledge:

• Must be able to perform vehicle repairs with oversight
• Ability to use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools

Additional Notes:

• Must have tools to perform necessary repairs
• Must have a Valid Driver's License
