Job summary

Northwest-Tire in Bismarck, ND is seeking a career-minded Mechanic to service medium trucks, handle suspension and brake work, perform DOT inspections and assist tire and lube technicians.

Must have own tools and either experience or tech school completion; hours typically 7:30am–5:30pm with rotating Saturdays and possible overtime. Room for advancement within the shop.

Qualifications

• Experience in medium truck repair, suspension, brakes, and DOT inspections.
• Must have own tools and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Applicant should be career minded, self-motivated and able to work at a fast- paced environment. Job duties will include medium truck repair, suspension, brakes, DOT inspections, minor diagnostics and assist tire and lube techs between bigger jobs.

Must have own tools. Experience required or Tech school completion.

• Most jobs are rotating Saturdays, No Sundays. Hours of operation may vary but are generally 7:30am - 5:30pm.

• Should have past mechanic experience and understanding of alignment equipment, diagnostic equipment, impact wrenches, etc.
• Must be able to stand, walk bend and stretch on a regular basis.
