Job summary

Northwest Tire in Bemidji, MN is seeking a skilled Mechanic to perform automotive and light truck repairs, suspension work, brakes, DOT inspections, and minor diagnostics. You will assist tire and lube technicians on larger jobs and must have your own tools.

Candidates should have prior shop experience or tech school completion, be able to stand, walk, bend and stretch, and be a team player. Hours typically 7:30am–5:30pm with overtime and room for advancement.

Qualifications

• Past mechanic experience required with alignment and diagnostic equipment.
• Able to stand/walk/bend for long periods.
• Team player and 18+ years old.
• Own tools are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive and light truck repairs, suspension work, brake service, and DOT inspections.
• Assist tire and lube technicians with larger jobs.
• Conduct minor diagnostics and basic maintenance tasks as needed.

Applicant should be career minded, self-motivated and able to work at a fast- paced environment. Job duties will include automotive and light truck repair, suspension, brakes, DOT inspections, minor diagnostics and assist tire and lube techs between bigger jobs.

Must have own tools. Experience required or Tech school completion.
