Job summary

Bergstrom Automotive in Wisconsin’s largest dealership group is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform basic maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections) and assist with minor repairs under supervision.

You will conduct inspections, document test results, keep a clean workspace, participate in training, and collaborate with senior technicians to deliver exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• ASE certification or equivalent required; manufacturer-specific certifications strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience as an automotive technician.
• Technical training completed or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid replacements).
• Assist with minor mechanical and electrical repairs under supervision.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to identify issues and ensure safety and reliability.
• Test and document vehicle functionality and maintain service records.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized workspace per safety protocols.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with automotive technologies.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and service advisors to deliver excellent guest service.
