Job summary

Toyota Motor Credit Corporation is seeking a passionate Engineer to lead automotive training development for Toyota and Lexus dealership technicians. You will research, design, develop, deliver and evaluate state‑of‑the‑art training programs, creating outlines, guides, storyboards, and assessments.

You will collaborate with regional development teams and internal stakeholders across TMNA, TMC and TTC, travel to training centers, and ensure content accuracy and relevance through evidence,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Engineering, Vocational Education Instructional Design, or equivalent in automotive training operations.
• Strong automotive diagnostic skills.
• Strong technical writing, editing and content development skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strong presentation, facilitation and public speaking skills.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, deliver and evaluate automotive training courses.
• Create course outlines, timelines, online storyboards, instructor guides, presentations and assessments.
• Collaborate with TMNA, TMC & TTC design groups and regional teams to align content.
• Develop and maintain training materials including visuals, videos and simulations.
• Deliver training at regional centers and conduct train‑the‑trainer events.
• Evaluate learner performance data and refine course development processes.
