Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis is seeking an Automotive Technical Training Instructor to lead hands-on vehicle maintenance instruction for students aged 16–22. You will develop curricula, deliver practical demonstrations, and assess training needs while maintaining engaging classroom delivery.

You will use Automotive training materials provided by the organization, coordinate class schedules, and ensure efficient use of workshop resources. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of automotive systems and drivability.
• Ability to diagnose using scanners, DMMs, oscilloscopes.
• Experience in designing technical course content.
• Strong classroom management and instructional delivery skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical training programs and schedules.
• Deliver in-person lectures, demonstrations, and discussions.
• Coordinate instruction events and classroom setup.
• Deliver standard and customized training for BGCM needs.
• Evaluate training results and improve programs as needed.
• Collaborate with BGCM and TTC departments to resolve issues.
• Research and publish technical articles and bulletins.
• Work with trainers to ensure high-quality services.
