Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills to engage students in the classroom.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learning styles.
  • ASE Certification required; willingness to continue training and certifications.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Technician Instructor to join our Rick Case team!

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical education, particularly in areas such as automotive repair and automotive diagnostics. This role involves developing and delivering engaging curriculum to equip students with the necessary skills to excel in their respective fields. The Instructor will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum tailored to the needs of students in technical disciplines.
  • Conduct classroom instruction that includes both theoretical knowledge and practical application.
  • Evaluate student performance through assessments, projects, and hands-on demonstrations.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to students, helping them navigate their educational journey.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements to ensure curriculum relevance.
  • Comply with health and safety rules and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in curriculum development specific to technical subjects.
  • Hands-on experience in automotive maintenance, automotive repair, or automotive diagnostics is highly desirable.
  • Previous teaching or instructional experience is preferred; a passion for education is essential.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively in a classroom setting.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
  • ASE Certified required – willingness to continue training and certifications

Must be a good role model for 17-24 yr. old technical school students.
