Job summary

Servco Pacific Inc. is seeking a Technical Trainer to instruct and facilitate training classes for technicians, service staff and managers at our Hawaii facility.

The role also manages tools, equipment, vehicles, simulators and the training facility, writes curriculum, and updates training materials. You will develop staff and apprentice knowledge, maintain the training database, and drive improvements to training processes to enhance performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Auto Technology or related field.
• 4 years of diagnostic experience as automotive technician or mechanic.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual shift vehicles.
• Prior training or instructional experience is a plus.
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and clear communication.
• Toyota, Lexus, or Subaru experience preferred.
• Advanced automotive diagnostic skills and ASE certifications preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Effective presentation skills.
• Understanding of training program administration.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and facilitate training classes for technicians, service staff, and managers.
• Maintain storage of training department tools, simulators, vehicles and other equipment; manage facility.
• Write curriculum and execute changes in training course materials.
• Update and maintain training database information.
• Develop staff and apprentice knowledge and skill levels.
