Job summary

Lincoln Tech is seeking an experienced Automotive Instructor to lead hands-on labs and deliver the Lincoln Tech–accredited curriculum. You will mentor students, emphasize safety, and assess progress to keep learners on track.

Requirements include 3+ years as an Automotive Technician, ASE G1 and A6 certifications, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication. Prior teaching experience is a plus, with a supportive, student-first approach.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an Automotive Technician.
• ASE certifications (G1 and A6 required).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Clear, confident communication and a student-first mindset.
• Comfort with technology and digital learning tools.
• Prior teaching or training experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead practical training in Automotive Technology using industry-standard equipment.
• Deliver the Lincoln Tech–accredited curriculum with engaging demos, labs, and discussions.
• Model professionalism and accountability; mentor students on workplace habits.
• Assess progress, provide actionable feedback, and keep learners on track.
• Instill a culture of safety and compliance in every procedure and lab.
• Prepare students to launch successful careers in Automotive Technology.
