Job summary

Jim Coleman Automotive in Clarksville, MD is seeking an experienced Tag & Title Administrator. The role requires hands-on title processing for retail and wholesale, with emphasis on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will work in a team-oriented environment with ongoing training and competitive pay for experienced candidates. This position is based at our Clarksville store, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of automotive title processing experience.
• Reynolds & Reynolds and CVR experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Team-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Process retail and wholesale title work.
• Prepare and submit out-of-state titles via Title Service.
• Verify VIN, odometer, and releases of liens.
• Resolve titling issues with customers, dealers, and regulators.
• Maintain knowledge of DMV titling regulations for applicable states.
• Run outstanding title reports and contact sellers.
• Ensure titles are accurate and compliant.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Process Retail and Wholesale Title work
• Prepare and submit out of state Title work via Title Service
• Examine vehicle title for accuracy and conformity to specified requirements
• Verify acceptance of the title in the state for which it is filed
• Confirm accurate VIN number, odometer reading, and releases of liens and that titles contain no alterations
• Resolve titling issues through interaction with customers, dealers, and regulatory agencies
• Maintain knowledge of current DMV regulations as they relate to vehicle titles and interpret titling regulations in each state for which the vehicles are processed
• Run outstanding title reports, review, and contact sellers regarding outstanding titles
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Automotive Motor Vehicle Processing: 2 years
• Reynolds & Reynolds and CVR experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail is required
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast paced environment
• Understand deadlines and respond with urgency to all tasks

Schedule

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Work Location is at our Clarksville store
