Job summary

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies seeks a Systems Integration Engineer to unify vehicle features across ECUs, software baselines, and hardware releases. You will validate wake/sleep transitions, energy management, and ECU interactions while enabling stable vehicle execution in bench, HIL, and in‑vehicle environments.

You will collaborate with software, hardware, validation, manufacturing and diagnostics teams, tracking new features and closing integration gaps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in automotive systems integration, embedded systems, or validation.

Responsibilities

• System Integration: support feature integration across ECUs, software baselines, and hardware releases.
• Environment Split: validate wake, sleep, reset, and power transition scenarios in lab and in-vehicle tests.
• Hardware‑to‑Design Alignment: verify software behaviors match hardware specifications.
• Platform Readiness: prepare controllers and networked systems for milestones.
• Cross‑Functional Integration: collaborate with software, hardware, validation, manufacturing, and diagnostics teams.
• Edge Case Testing: execute tests for normal, corner, and degraded modes.
• Technical Communication: document root causes and track corrective actions.
