Job summary

Vitro Automotive Glass is seeking a dedicated Supply Chain professional to direct the incoming and outgoing flow of materials for the Berea Plant. This role includes scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring on-time delivery while controlling costs.

The position requires collaboration with OEM customers and internal teams to optimize production and logistics in a fast-paced plant environment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 1–3 years in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or equivalent field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
• Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Ability to oversee employees and work as a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, management and vendors.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects to established timelines.

Responsibilities

• Keep track of KPI across functions and ensure timely shipments.
• Monitor compliance with company policies and progress of administrative tasks (e.g., inventory management).
• Create customer shipment papers.
• Manage shipments to avoid premium freight costs.
• Manage finished stock production and inbound materials to minimize inventory costs.
• Communicate with OEM customers to ensure timely shipments.
• Communicate with SMX supervisors and executive team to achieve company goals.
• Create work orders for production staff in SAP.
• Monitor glass demands in SAP and update data as needed.
• Oversee rack inventory and daily receipts; conduct quarterly counts.
• Oversee the activities of office staff.
