Job summary

Midas is seeking a seasoned Store Manager in Greensboro, NC to oversee automotive and general service operations, safety, efficiency, and profit/loss accountability. You will lead a team of technicians and service advisors to deliver high quality work and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a college degree or coursework, 3+ years in automotive repair with supervisory experience, a continuous improvement mindset, P&L experience, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years store/service manager experience
• General automotive knowledge
• Excellent customer service disposition
• Good communication skills
• Strong POS computer and Internet skills
• Leadership and team-building abilities
• Able to work weekends/holidays; Closed Sundays
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, schedule and coach employees
• Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers
• Following up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times, etc.
• Oversee vehicle inspections and build comprehensive repair orders with parts sourcing
• Deliver and discuss pricing estimates and promote shop service specials
• Lead, manage, and train team while aligning with company vision, values and creed
• Oversee all sales, accounting and clerical functions from Service Advisors
• Oversee technicians’ inspections, diagnosing and repairing of vehicles
• Maintain inventory counts and manage losses
• Ensure facility cleanliness and environmental compliance
• Payroll and scheduling record keeping
• Update and submit daily sales reports to Corporate
