Position Overview

Come be part of a growing company as an Automotive Store Manager. We own 4 SpeeDee Oil Change & Auto Service and Grease Monkey locations in Baton Rouge, Kenner, Metairie, and Covington, with plans to add one more location by the end of 2024. Build and manage a team to achieve a six-figure income.

Minimum 5 years of automotive management experience required, including tire and automotive repair. We seek someone who cares for their team and customers, and will treat your store as if it were your own. Must be able to follow a simple 10-step written process and enforce staff adherence. This is a hands-on management role, primarily spent in the bays managing people and processes, not a sit-in-office position. About 75% of your time will be in the bays, doing whatever it takes to get the job done. We can teach aptitude but not attitude. Do you have what it takes to work hard and make six figures?

Responsibilities:

The Store Manager oversees the successful operation and profitability of a Grease Monkey center, utilizing customer and employee relations skills, business management techniques, and sound judgment. This is a working sales position focused on growing store sales. Experience in changing oil, installing tires, and selling auto services to customers is required. Heavy customer interaction is essential. The more you sell, the more you earn.

The role requires an outgoing, friendly personality. The manager reviews manufacturer vehicle recommendations with customers, completes oil changes, and sells additional services such as fluid exchanges, filters, tires, and mechanical work during the oil change process. Effective communication via our TRUST process is key to maximizing earnings.
