Advance Auto Parts is seeking a General Manager to inspire the team, help our Customers succeed and grow the business with integrity. This exempt, professional role demands deep store systems knowledge and automotive parts expertise, with the ability to manage DIY and professional relationships and drive financial results.

The position requires 50–55 hours per week, 5–6 days, 11-hour shifts, with rotating nights and weekends, plus lunch. Schedule flexibility and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience managing a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Achieve store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage Professional Customer relationships and coach action plans.
• Hire, develop, and schedule store Team Members.
• Ensure inventory and operational standards are met.
• Lead on-duty responsibilities and safety compliance.
• Drive change management and foster a diverse, respectful environment.
• Provide DIY services and assist in other functions as needed.
