Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a General Manager to inspire the team and drive sales while delivering excellent customer experiences.

The role demands strong knowledge of store and automotive systems, parts expertise, and the ability to troubleshoot and support DIY and professional customers. Responsibilities include leading people, optimizing profitability, maintaining inventory and store operations, and ensuring safety and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant bachelor’s degree preferred.
• ASE certification is preferred but not required; leadership experience a must.
• 2-3 years of experience managing a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships and sales.
• Hiring, development, performance management, coaching, scheduling and engagement of store team members.
• Manager on duty responsibilities including coaching, safety, opening/closing duties.
