Job summary

Mapbox is seeking a Solutions Architect to partner with customers across Japan and Korea, shaping architectures using Mapbox SDKs and APIs. You will translate complex requirements into scalable designs and drive pre-sales activities with a mix of software and strategic thinking.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in technical consulting or pre-sales, strong English and Korean, and experience with cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Korean and English (written and spoken).
• 5+ years in solutions architecture, customer-facing engineering, or consulting.
• Strong grasp of web/mobile tech (JavaScript, Android, iOS).
• Excellent communication with executive and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to articulate Mapbox's technical value.
• Lead technical discovery to define customer goals and success criteria.
• Design scalable architectures using Mapbox SDKs, APIs, and services.
• Respond to RFI/RFQ with clear technical proposals and documentation.
• Provide technical enablement through workshops, demos, and PoC/PoV.
