Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan, is seeking a Software Validation Engineer to lead validation testing for production and experimental software. Hybrid work setup requires residence within commutable distance to the Dearborn site.

You will develop DVMs for automated testing in HIL, maintain traceability, and troubleshoot hardware–software integration with Python and MATLAB. 2 years of relevant experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or CS and 2 years of related experience.
• Experience testing automotive embedded controllers against specs/functional requirements.
• Experience with CAN/LIN/Ethernet networks and inter-module communication.
• Experience in Hardware-In-Loop testing and using Python for test automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead software validation testing, analysis, and reporting for production and experimental software.
• Develop DVMs in an automated HIL environment using Python-based test scripts.
• Maintain requirements traceability and test scripts in version control.
• Troubleshoot embedded hardware-software integration issues.
