Job summary

LEHR is seeking an experienced Automotive Shop Manager to lead our Cincinnati operation, oversee production, and develop a high-performing team delivering quality builds on time.

The role requires leadership experience, strong technical aptitude with 12V electrical systems, and the ability to thrive in a high-energy environment. Responsibilities include shop operations, supervising 15–20 staff, scheduling, inventory, invoicing, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead teams and drive results.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent - required
• Knowledge and/or experience in the automotive parts and upfitting industry - a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shop operations and production activities
• Supervise 15-20 team members including technicians, customer service, and warehouse team
• Schedule work and manage workflow to meet production goals
• Maintain inventory and coordinate material needs with warehouse team
• Provide invoicing for builds
• Monitor labor efficiency, shop performance, and productivity metrics
• Support customers by providing exceptional service and occasional quotes
• Implement process improvements that increase efficiency and quality
• Facilitate employee reviews with Shop Foreman
• Assist with uniform sales

Compensation and Benefits

• $75k - $80k, based on experience
