Are you an organized, automotive-savvy professional who can keep a busy shop running smoothly? Advantage Chevrolet of Bridgeview is seeking an experienced Service Dispatcher to join our high-performing team!

About the Role:

As a Service Dispatcher, you’ll play a key role in managing technician workload and keeping our shop efficient, productive, and profitable. You’ll work closely with our advisors and technicians to prioritize repairs, minimize downtime, and maintain customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispatch repair orders efficiently to technicians based on skillset and availability

Monitor workflow and adjust dispatching as needed to meet daily targets

Collaborate with service advisors to coordinate repair timelines and expectations

Ensure proper documentation and status updates within the DMS

Maintain awareness of parts availability to avoid job delays

Support compliance with shop policies and safety procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

Solid automotive knowledge; GM experience highly preferred

Experience in a dealership service department

Familiarity with Local 701 union rules a plus (not required)

Prior service dispatch or service advisor experience

Strong multitasking and communication skills

Proficiency with dealership DMS systems (AutoMate & XTime experience preferred)
