Job summary

Anoka Technical College seeks a full-time Automotive Services Technology faculty member who uses active and experiential learning to engage students. The role involves teaching across the automotive curriculum, in day/evening/alternate formats, including online delivery, and assessing student progress in a student-centered environment.

Minimum qualifications include a post-secondary credential in automotive services technology, four years of related experience, and current ASE certification.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or certificate in automotive services technology.
• Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in automotive service technology.
• Current ASE certification in the areas taught.
• Ability to differentiate instruction across multiple levels and learning styles.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students across the assigned curriculum.
• Teach courses in day, evening, and alternate formats including virtual learning environments.
• Assess student achievement at classroom, department, and college levels.
• Participate in committees, curriculum development, and college initiatives.
