Peltier Subaru is seeking a dependable Express Technician / Service Videographer to join our Service Department in Tyler, TX. The role blends hands-on vehicle maintenance with creating personalized video updates for customers after service, helping them clearly see what was done and what to plan next.

Ideal candidates are comfortable on camera, communicate professionally, and can explain maintenance in simple terms. Training is available for those new to automotive work.

Qualifications

• Comfortable speaking on camera, clear and confident communication.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.
• Basic automotive knowledge or willingness to learn is required.
• Ability to explain maintenance in simple, customer-friendly terms.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform Express Service maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, fluids, filters, inspections).
• Record personalized walk-around videos after service.
• Explain what maintenance was completed during the visit.
• Highlight key vehicle areas (tires, brakes, filters, fluids, components).
• Point out items needing attention now or later.
• Provide maintenance recommendations based on condition and Subaru intervals.
• Keep videos professional, friendly, and easy to understand.
