Job summary

Graff Auto Campus in Burns Harbor, IN is seeking an experienced auto technician to perform repairs and maintenance per the repair order. You will test-drive vehicles, use diagnostic tools, and communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional work.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years of automotive experience, strong reading and numerical skills, and a commitment to customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc
• Communicating directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
