Job summary

LaFontaine Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance to dealer and factory standards at our Michigan locations.

We offer a tiered pay plan, longevity bonus, monthly hours contests, and comprehensive benefits including 401(k) with match and employee discounts. A valid driver’s license and MVR check are required. On-the-job training is provided to help you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Committed to customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.
• Able to read/understand instructions and information.
• High school diploma or GED required; Michigan Mechanic Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders from dispatcher and take to stall area.
• Perform repairs and maintenance per repair order and standards.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform authorized repairs.
• Coordinate with Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
• Document work performed and communicate progress to service advisor.
