Job summary

Koons Tysons Chevy Buick GMC is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform repairs, diagnostics and routine maintenance on customer vehicles. You will document work, communicate with advisors, and conduct road tests as needed. A valid driver’s license and strong mechanical skills are required, with ASE/manufacturer certifications highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Must have basic tools and strong mechanical skills.
• ASE and manufacturer certifications are heavily preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and diagnosis with some assistance.
• Complete routine maintenance and inspections.
• Document work performed and communicate needs to service advisor.
• Test drives and road tests to verify repairs.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and company policies.
