Pep Boys, now part of the Mavis Tire family, is hiring a General Service Technician for our Durham, NC centers. You’ll perform essential tire and maintenance tasks and gain hands-on automotive skills in a fast-paced environment.

We offer paid training, competitive weekly pay with incentives, and a path for career advancement within the nation’s largest automotive service network. Previous experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.

Responsabilités

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
