Job summary

Pep Boys, now part of the Mavis Tire family, is hiring full-time General Service Technicians for centers in the Matthews, NC area. The role offers paid training, benefits, and opportunities for career growth with the nation's largest automotive service organization.

You'll perform essential maintenance and tire services, work alongside experienced technicians, and contribute to safe, timely service for customers. A $800 new hire bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
