Job summary

Mavis Tire is hiring a General Service Technician in the Columbus, OH area. In this full-time role, you will perform essential maintenance and tire services, working alongside experienced automotive professionals to develop hands-on skills and grow your career.

You’ll dismount/mount tires, perform oil changes, check fluids, and help ensure safety and quality service while maintaining a clean work area. Paid training and opportunities for advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on automotive environment.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
