Job summary

Purcell Tire & Rubber Company seeks a skilled automotive technician to perform tire services, inspections, and routine maintenance. You will handle oil/lube tasks, TPMS resets, and wheel alignments while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and ASE/ATS certifications or vendor training, with a high school diploma as a minimum. Responsibilities include extracting specs, reporting findings, and maintaining a clean, safe shop environment

Knowledge of mechanical systems and tools used in repair and maintenance.
Customer service skills to assess needs and maintain satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Pull customer vehicles in and out of the shop.
Complete oil/lube services and maintenance lamp resets, gather specs and repair info.
Inspect vehicles, report findings, and support repair decisions.
Perform tire replacement/repair and reset TPMS.
Operate automotive lifts safely.
Clean, stock and maintain workspace.
Follow checklists to inspect key systems.
Perform wheel alignments and routine maintenance.
Contribute to a culture of safety and asset protection.
Maintain regular attendance per schedule.
