Job summary

Purcell Tire & Rubber Co. in Paducah, Kentucky, is seeking a hands-on Automotive Technician to perform oil/lube services, tire replacement, TPMS work, inspections, and wheel alignments as part of a safety-focused shop team.

You will follow checklists, maintain a clean workspace, and comply with certification requirements while delivering quality maintenance and repair for customer vehicles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required
• 1-2 years of job-specific experience preferred
• Must have Driver’s License and tire/auto service certifications such as ASE or ATS

Responsibilities

• Pull customer vehicles in and out of the shop.
• Perform oil/lube services and maintenance lamp resets; gather specs and repair info as needed.
• Complete vehicle inspections and accurately record findings on the RO and support findings with specs.
• Perform tire replacement and repair services; work with TPMS systems.
• Replace wipers and light bulbs; use automotive lift equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, stocked work area and follow checklists for inspection items.
• Perform wheel alignment service and adhere to safety standards.
