Qualifications

• Active certification or licensure required where applicable.
• At least 5 years industry experience in the last 10 years.
• Three years of practical work experience for non‑degree/occupational programs.
• Four years of practical work experience plus related degree for academic associate/bachelor programs; online faculty may require a master's degree.
• Eight years may substitute for experience in certain cases as justified by campus.
• Master’s degree with 18 semester hours of coursework in the subject area for general education courses.
• Before teaching, instructors must have documented prior teaching experience or complete instructor training.
• Ability to qualify as instructor per accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver educational materials using sound practices to support student academic development.
• Lead by example with professional conduct aligned to Ancora Education Mission and Core Values.
• Provide engaging, student-centered instruction and support including tutoring as needed.
• Ensure availability and readiness of instructional materials and equipment for coursework.
• Participate in faculty assessment and ongoing professional development.
• Analyze assessment data, prepare reports, and meet academic deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
