Job summary

Asbury, a leading automotive retailer, seeks an Automotive Service Technician to perform routine repairs and diagnostic work, including engine, electrical, and maintenance tasks. You’ll work with certified technicians to ensure quality service, maintain CSI goals, and uphold safety standards while delivering guest-focused experiences.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications heavily preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred.
• Must have basic tools.
• Must have great technical and mechanical skills.
• Must be a team player and able to work repetitively on complex tasks.
• Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test).

Responsibilities

• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Document all work performed and time-keeping on the repair order.
• Communicate with the service advisor when additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Maintain technician proficiency as specified by Asbury standards.
• Conduct road tests to verify work done and proper operation when necessary.
