Job summary

Asbury Palm Harbor Honda is seeking a skilled Service Technician to repair customer vehicles and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will perform repairs, diagnostics, and routine maintenance with manufacturer training and support from a team of professionals.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are highly preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications are highly preferred.
• Previous automotive technician experience is required.
• Must have basic tools.
• Strong technical and mechanical skills are required.
• Must be a team player and reliable.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Document all work performed and recommendations on the repair order.
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Maintain technician proficiency as specified by Asbury standards.
• Conduct road tests to determine work needed and to confirm repairs.
• Perform all levels of diagnosis and repair on vehicles.
• Perform all levels of preventive/routine maintenance services.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs to stay updated.
• Maintain CSI and dealership service goals.
• Complete warranty repair orders and warranty claims documentation.
• Report safety or integrity concerns to management.
• Ensure vehicles are returned clean after service.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
