Job summary

Blossom Chevrolet, Inc. is hiring an Automotive Service Technician in Indianapolis to diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair vehicles to dealership and manufacturer standards.

You will communicate findings to Service Advisors, perform repairs accurately and safely, and stay current with automotive technology. We offer medical/dental/vision insurance, PTO, paid holidays, training, and career growth within an established dealership.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related automotive repair experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Automotive technical training or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy parts or equipment, with reasonable accommodations as required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair vehicles according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Identify additional maintenance and repair needs and communicate findings to Service Advisors.
• Complete repairs accurately, efficiently, and safely.
• Perform quality checks and road tests to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and keep your workspace clean and organized.
• Stay current with automotive technology, technical bulletins, and manufacturer training.
• Follow all dealership safety procedures and applicable regulations.
