Job summary

Hubler Chevrolet, INC. is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join our Indianapolis service team. You will diagnose and repair a range of vehicles, maintain high customer service standards, and ensure work is completed accurately the first time.

You’ll stay current with technical publications and service procedures while delivering a clean, safe vehicle to customers. Ideal candidates have ASE certification and a high school diploma, plus experience performing warranty and non-warranty

Qualifications

• Experience performing warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostic, maintenance and repair on various vehicle makes and models.

Responsibilities

• Correctly troubleshoot customer concerns using the latest administrative and technical tools provided.
• Ensure common courtesy is shown toward all customers you come into contact with.
• Act as a secondary customer greeter to customers not yet acknowledged.
• Keep up to date with all technical publications, Service Comm, and Asist terminal operations.
• Make every reasonable effort to ensure safe and honourable vehicle service is delivered the first time.
• Address all original customer concerns before moving onto additional sales.
• Inspect every vehicle for additional sales opportunities per local area and factory recommendations.
• Ensure the customer’s vehicle is returned as clean or cleaner than when it arrived.
• Participate in any Factory or in‑house sponsored training programs offered to you.
• Complete all paperwork completely and correctly, attach all required shop forms to the RO hard copy.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Service Manager, ASM or Group Leader.
• Always come to work on time, ready to work, and in a clean uniform.
