Job summary

Blossom Chevrolet in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Service Technician to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs with precision and care. You will inspect vehicles, prepare labor and parts estimates, and ensure work meets dealership and manufacturer standards.

The role requires an associate degree or technical training and 3–5 years of related experience, plus a valid Indiana driver’s license. Base pay ranges from $30,000 to $50,000 yearly, with paid training and a supportive family-owned

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year technical school and three to five years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Must possess a valid Indiana Driver's license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receives repair orders (RO's) from the dispatcher and takes vehicle to the work stall area.
• Completes a thorough inspection of vehicles, fills out the inspection sheet and takes the written estimate to the Service Advisor.
• Determines the cause of any malfunction.
• Performs requested labor operations using recommended procedures, tools, and equipment in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Road tests all repaired vehicles.
• Maintains and accounts for all tools and equipment at all times.
• Cleans all parts that have been worked on and keeps vehicles clean.
