Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking a Service Technician - Courtesy Kia in Brandon, FL to repair vehicles, perform diagnostics, and complete routine maintenance. The role emphasizes high-quality guest experiences and adherence to manufacturer standards.

Ideal candidates possess strong mechanical skills, valid driver’s license, and a willingness to participate in ongoing manufacturer training; ASE and other certifications are highly desired. Eligible for weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have basic automotive repair knowledge and be capable of performing routine service and repairs.
• Must be a team player with good communication.
• Manufacturer certifications (ASE and others) are highly preferred.
• Minimum age 18 and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Maintain technician proficiency as specified by Asbury standards.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and appointment readiness.
• Perform all levels of diagnosis and repair on vehicles and routine maintenance.
