Job summary

Preston Motors is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards. You will work with a skilled team using modern diagnostic equipment, with opportunities for ongoing training and advancement.

The role requires 1+ year of technician experience, valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a shop environment. ASE certification is a plus or willingness to obtain it. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 1+ years automotive technician experience preferred.
• ASE certification a plus, or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Own tools preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance per manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and computer system issues.
• Road test vehicles and use diagnostic equipment as needed.
• Communicate additional repair needs to the Service Advisor.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and parts.
• Maintain an accurate record of parts and time on each repair order.
