Preston Auto Group is seeking a motivated Flat Rate Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles to manufacturer standards in a fast-paced dealership setting. You will work with a skilled team and modern diagnostic equipment to deliver high-quality work and an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years automotive technician experience required or preferred.
• Own tools preferred.
• Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance per manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and computer system issues.
• Road test vehicles and use diagnostic equipment as needed.
• Communicate additional repair needs to the Service Advisor.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and parts.
• Maintain an accurate record of parts and time on each repair order.

Requirements

• 1+ years of automotive technician experience preferred
• ASE certification a plus, or willingness to obtain
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Own tools preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment
