Job summary

Preston Auto Group in New Castle, PA is seeking an Automotive Service Technician. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles to manufacturer standards, delivering high-quality workmanship for a safe, reliable drive.

You will work with a skilled team using modern diagnostic tools, with opportunities for training and advancement. We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of automotive technician experience preferred.
• ASE certification a plus, or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Own tools preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance per manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and computer system issues.
• Road test vehicles and use diagnostic equipment as needed.
• Communicate additional repair needs to the Service Advisor.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and parts.
• Maintain an accurate record of parts and time on each repair order.
