Job summary

Ken Garff Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician (Mechanic) at Big Star Ford to perform precise repairs in line with dealership and factory standards. You will diagnose, repair, and inspect vehicles, ensuring first-visit fixes and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S. with a valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record.
• Prior automotive technician (mechanic) experience preferred.
• ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders, in accordance with dealership, state and factory standards.
• Address customers' primary concerns with diagnosis, repair and quality control to attain 'Fixed First Visit' expectations.
• Perform the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection along with video on every vehicle; notify if more time is needed.
• Master the Dealer Management System (DMS) for work distribution, inspections, quotes and time keeping.
• Complete required training as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout workspace and in all customer vehicles.
