Job summary

BMW of Kinston is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our busy service department. You will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to ensure safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction across a range of vehicles.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Automotive Technology or equivalent preferred.
Two or more years of automotive repair and diagnostic experience preferred.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to interpret repair manuals and service information.

Responsibilities

Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs per manufacturer standards.
Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, brake, suspension, steering, transmission, and other systems.
Complete scheduled maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations.
Document diagnostic findings and repairs accurately in repair orders.
Collaborate with service advisors and teammates to ensure efficient workflow.
Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
