Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our growing team. The right candidate will bring a solid service technician background with ASE or Ford certification preferred. Duties include performing work on repair orders and diagnosing what repairs are needed.

Qualifications

2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent; ASE or Ford certification preferred.
Ford Certification; experience at a Ford dealership preferred.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Perform work on repair orders with efficiency per dealership standards.
Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, brakes, etc.).
Communicate with Service Advisor and estimate time for repairs; perform warranty work as needed.
