Job summary

Wilson County Motors, LLC is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join the Bone Automotive Family at Wilson County Hyundai. The role focuses on diagnosing, servicing, and repairing vehicles with an emphasis on customer care and teamwork.

You will work with a team under the Service Department Director, using diagnostic tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency, while delivering quality service and meeting manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• Strong automotive background.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
• Must have clean & valid driver’s license.
• Dependability.
• Must own tools to perform the required repairs.
• Experience in auto service OR recent completion of automotive tech/trade school.
• ASE Certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of needed additional services and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Keep equipment available by inspecting and testing vehicles and performing preventive maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.).
• Maintain vehicle condition by listening to customer concerns, inspecting, repairing engine and mechanical/electrical systems, and replacing parts.
