Job summary

Johnson Hyundai of Apex is seeking a Full-Time Automotive Service Technician to join our growing Service team in Apex, NC. We value pride in work, ongoing training, and the opportunity to advance your automotive skills.

You'll inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles, collaborating with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to ensure high-quality service. ASE/Hyundai certs are preferred but not required for all levels.

Qualifications

• Automotive maintenance and/or repair experience appropriate to the position.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability for experience level.
• Commitment to quality and accurate workmanship.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to document work performed and communicate repair findings.
• Basic computer and electronic diagnostic proficiency.
• Dependable, self-motivated approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a Service team.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training.
• A valid driver's license and driving record acceptable under company standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair customer and dealership vehicles.
• Perform maintenance, diagnostic, and repair work accurately and efficiently.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns and perform necessary repairs.
• Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Communicate diagnostic findings and parts requirements to Service Advisors.
• Work with Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
• Document inspections and repairs performed.
