Job summary

The General Service Technician at Monro, Inc. performs basic vehicle repair and maintenance to Monro standards and manufacturer specs.

This hourly role can be full-time or part-time based on business needs and emphasizes delivering 5 Star service through clear communication of vehicle issues and proposed solutions to guests. You will perform tire services, oil changes, lubrications, and routine inspections, assist in inventory, and help keep the store clean and safe.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform basic vehicle services and repairs per Monro standards.
• Tire services: wheel removal, balancing, patch/plug repairs, mounting, TPMS.
• Oil changes and basic maintenance including bulb, wiper, and filter replacements.
• Complete courtesy inspection on every guest vehicle and document needed services.
• Assist in inventory management and general store duties.
• Adhere to safety standards and road test policies.
