Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician in Sandy, UT. The candidate will perform routine repairs, diagnose vehicular systems and document work accurately while maintaining high CSI scores.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a background/drug screen. ASE and manufacturer certifications are heavily preferred, with a focus on team collaboration and safety.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications heavily preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred.
• Must have basic tools.
• Must have great technical and mechanical skills.
• Must be a team player and have the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks.
• Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and diagnose vehicle systems.
• Make accurate use of inspection forms and document work performed.
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed.
• Maintain technician proficiency as per standards.
• Conduct road tests to verify work completed.
• Complete warranty repair orders and warranty claims.
