Job summary

107 Team Car Care East, LLC (US) in Lenexa, KS is seeking a General Service Technician to service guest vehicles. You'll complete entry-level duties through our training program, earn certification, and grow into more advanced roles.

Responsibilities include teamwork, clear guest communication, maintaining a clean service center, guiding junior technicians, checking oil and tire pressure, inspecting vehicles, documenting work, and adhering to safety policies while working flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (i.e. retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours
• Demonstrate excellent guest service, including clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles
• Ensure that the service center is clean and presentable
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level automotive technicians
• Check and communicate oil level to other teammates
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Complete vehicle inspection
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
• Document all work performed on the repair order
• Report safety issues immediately to management
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation
• Perform various manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting tires and wheels
