Job summary

Jiffy Lube International in San Diego, CA is seeking a General Service Technician to service guest vehicles and support the service center's operations. You will join a trained team, earn certification through our program, and contribute to a positive guest experience while developing your automotive skills.

The role requires a minimum of 3 months in a customer-facing environment, good communication, and the physical ability to perform tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience.
• 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Strong communication skills to interact with guests and teammates.
• Positive work ethic, dependable, and a team player.
• Able to stand, lift up to 50 lb, and perform manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Service guests' vehicles to ensure quality work and guest experience.
• Check oil levels and communicate with teammates.
• Verify tire pressure and inflate to proper specs.
• Inspect and refill fluids as needed; perform vehicle inspections.
• Install oil drain plug and oil filter; clean and lubricate fittings.
• Document all work on repair orders and report safety issues.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies; assist teammates as needed.
