Courtesy Chevrolet Fleet Service in San Diego, CA is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.

You will use diagnostic tools, communicate with the Service Advisor, and perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications, joining a values-driven, team-focused shop.

Qualifications

• Experience working on medium- or heavy-duty trucks.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of diesel engine systems and vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Previous experience in automotive detailing is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new detailing techniques and products.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance per repair order.
• Test-drive vehicles and using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC systems.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Courtsey Chevrolet Fleet Service is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following, as well as other responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
